In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £10.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

N.B. Anyone who has not reached their 8th birthday by the date of the competition (17.3.2025) may only compete in Classes 1 and 2. Ages as on 1st January 2025.
If any competitor has qualified for the 2025 Winter Tri Final at a previous qualifier competition, they must please inform the organisers prior to the start of the competition.

N.B. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ‘PC TEAM ENTRIES’ but all competitors must have entered the competition as individuals.

Rosettes to 6th Place in ALL individual classes.
Medals for best Shoot/Bean Bag Throw score, Swim & Run in all classes.

SHOE COVERS WILL BE PROVIDED & MUST BE WORN INDOORS.
No one will be allowed inside the College without shoe covers on outdoor footwear.
PLEASE TRY & REUSE THE SHOE COVERS IF POSSIBLE AFTER RUN PHASE
We are hugely grateful to Bottisham Village College for allowing us to use their wonderful facilities so please, please respect them.
Please use North Car Park & Sports Centre Entrance as marked on the attached map.
All the facilities we are using are highlighted in green – The Shoot & Prize Giving will be in the Sports Hall & The Bean Bag Throwing in the Ros Suttle/Dance Studio.
DELICIOUS REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE – Bacon rolls, crepes, tea, coffee etc
- In any dispute the decision of the Official Steward shall be final. The Official Steward reserves the right to amend, alter or cancel all or any of the conditions without notice.
- Rules are in accordance with the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rule Book 2025, a copy of which can be downloaded from www.pcuk.org
- Strictly NO dogs allowed
- Running will take place at one minute intervals but in Heats for Minimus and above (if possible)
- Competitors must be at the start of each event at least 15 minutes before they are due to compete.
- No person under the age of 18 may be in possession of or carry an air pistol unless in the presence of The RCO (Range Conducting Officer) or YSP (Youth Proficiency Pistol Tutor)
- Safety flags (safety line can be strimmer cord), must be inserted in all pistols at all times except when safety flag removal is authorised by the Firing Point Steward. To demonstrate that air guns are unloaded, safety flags (safety lines) must be long enough to extend through the full length of the barrel.
- Guns must be kept in boxes until instructed otherwise by the RCO or YSP
- Protective or prescription glasses are recommended for the Shoot Phase at all levels and are mandatory for Shooting at 7 meters.
- Substantial shoes that do not reach the anklebone but which cover the whole foot – e.g. trainers must be worn for the Shoot as well as long trousers/track suit bottoms.
- Competitors must be 8 years old or over on 16/3/2025 to be allowed to Shoot.
- Scored targets can be collected from the Secretary. These must be checked and signed for before being taken away. No queries can be upheld once targets have been removed. Any targets not removed 1 hour after completion of shooting will be taken as approved.
- Beanbags will be judged from where the Velcro attaches to the ‘target’.
- Only one person per competitor allowed ‘poolside’
- Diving Blocks will only be used in Junior & Open Classes if available.
- Dive certificates are compulsory for those wanting to dive, if you do not have one you will have to start in the pool. Please ‘upload’ your certificate when entering on www.horse-events.co.uk (NO CERTIFICATE NO DIVING)
N.B. There will be NO diving for Beanies or Tadpoles.
Legal Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to competitors, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health & Safety: Organisers of the events take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all stewards and officials.
Entry to the competition is dependent upon and deemed as acceptance of these rules.
